"Definitely, MS Dhoni," Yadav stated with conviction when questioned about his preferred doubles partner. "He's got speed, a lot of endurance, and is mentally very tough. Plus, I've seen him playing a lot of tennis whenever he's not playing cricket these days."

A self-professed tennis enthusiast, Suryakumar described his visit to Wimbledon as a long-awaited experience. "I’ve always heard about the atmosphere around Centre Court. I watch tennis quite a bit on television and I’m here to experience that surreal feeling in person," he shared.

Dressed impeccably, with a sartorial choice influenced by his wife, Yadav also revealed his admiration for Novak Djokovic. "I even read his book 'Serve to Win' which really inspired me. I could relate to his journey and perseverance," the dynamic batsman explained.

Regarding his Wimbledon favorites, Suryakumar Yadav highlighted Carlos Alcaraz for his audacious talent, while also acknowledging Pete Sampras and Roger Federer as his all-time Wimbledon legends.

Drawing parallels between elite tennis and high-stakes cricket, Yadav emphasized the importance of mental fortitude and stamina. "There are a lot of similarities. In cricket, we run 20-25 metres again and again. Tennis is similar in that way. You need strong mental resolve in both sports.”

With the Indian Test team currently engaged in a series at Lord's, Suryakumar Yadav is set to return to action in September for the Asia Cup.
