Shastri, 63, posted a selfie on X, expressing his delight at returning to the iconic venue. He mentioned the anticipated match between Carlos Alcaraz and Cameron Norrie, stating, “Great to be back at the Home of Tennis! @Wimbledon never disappoints, class, tradition, royalty in abundance. The Spanish Bull vs the local lad later today... should be an absolute ripper!”
This follows Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's visit to Centre Court. Kohli, making his first Wimbledon appearance in a decade, attracted considerable attention.
India vice-captain Rishabh Pant also made an appearance at the tournament.
Adding to the star-studded attendees, bowler Deepak Chahar and his wife Jaya Bhardwaj were also spotted at the Grand Slam. Wimbledon 2025 has drawn a global audience of sporting royalty, including James Anderson, Joe Root, Stuart Broad, Maria Sharapova, David Beckham, and John Cena.
